Rules and Regulations:
All classes show in the East Ring. Classes commence at 9:00 a.m.
All livestock exhibitors must show proof of Liability Insurance with livestock entry form. Entries are due in the office, by Wednesday, September 6th, 2023. No entry fee to be deducted but late entries will be charged $5.00 per class. Entries will not be accepted at ringside. Riders/drivers may pick up their back numbers at ringside.
Exhibitors may depart on completion of their classes.
No stallions may be ridden or handled by a youth under 19 years of age. Riders under 19 years of age must wear an approved riding helmet. Helmets are recommended for all riders/drivers and will not affect judging.
The Judge, with the support of the committee, may excuse any competitor for lack of safety, control, improper, and/or unsafe equipment. The Judge’s decision is FINAL. Lack of courtesy to the Judge, Committee and/or Volunteers could result in removal from the class and forfeiture of
winnings.

16. Open Halter.
Judged on the quality and conformation of the horse.
Prize Money: $35.00, $30.00, $25.00 $22.00, $10.00 for each additional entry.
17. Open English Saddle Seat.
Judged on the way of going of the horse; to be shown at the walk, trot, and canter, both ways of the ring. May be asked to back.
Prize Money: $75.00, $65.00, $55.00, $45.00, $40.00 for each additional entry.
18. Open English Saddle Seat Stake.
Must have entered and shown in class 17 Judged on the way of going of the horse; to be shown at the walk, trot, and canter, both ways of the ring. May be asked to back.
Prize Money: $100.00, $90.00, $80.00, $65.00, $50.00 for each additional entry.
19. Open Hunter Pleasure.
Judged on the way of going of the horse; to be shown at the walk, trot, extended trot, canter, and extended canter, both ways of the ring, to stand quietly and back readily.
Prize Money: $75.00, $65.00, $55.00, $45.00, $40.00 for each additional entry.
20. Open Hunter Stake.
Must have entered and shown in Section 19. Judged on the way of going of the horse; to be shown at the walk, trot, extended trot, canter, and extended canter, both ways of the ring, to stand quietly and back readily.

21. Open Western Pleasure.
Judged on the way of going of the horse. The horse should be a pleasure to ride with a relaxed rein. To be shown at the walk, jog, and lope, both ways
of the ring, to stand quietly and back readily.
Prize Money: $75.00, $65.00, $55.00, $45.00, $40.00 for each additional entry
22. Open Western Pleasure Stake.
Must have entered and shown in Section 21. Judged on the way of going of the horse. The horse should be a pleasure to ride with a relaxed rein. To be shown at the walk, jog, and lope, both ways of the ring. To stand quietly and back readily.
Prize Money: $100.00, $90.00, 80.00, $65.00, $50.00 for each additional entry.
23. Open Driving.
No cross entering from class 15, sections 1-16. To be shown at a walk, trot, and strong trot, to stand quietly in the line-up and back readily.
Prize Money: $75.00, $65.00, $55.00, $45.00, $40.00, for each additional entry
24. Open Driving Stake.
Must have entered and shown in Section 23. To be shown at a walk, trot, and strong trot, to stand quietly in the line-up and back readily.
Prize Money: $100.00, $90.00, 80.00, $65.00, $50.00 for each additional entry.
25. Open Command.
Open to English & Western riders. Commands will be announced. Last rider to perform the command and riders performing the incorrect command will be called into the middle of thering. Commands will be called until there is one rider left. Last rider is the winner of the class. Judge may ask for (but not
limited to) walk, jog/trot, lope/canter, counter canter / lope, extended canter, back up, halt, change rein/reverse.
