2026 EXHITBITOR SUBMISSIONS DEADLINE
Entries to be postmarked by Saturday, August 29th or emailed to [email protected] no later than midnight on August 31st. Electronic entry submission is available at www.assistexpo.ca/orono-fair. Online entries will shut down at midnight on August 31st, and late entries for most classes (excluding animals) will not be accepted. In-person drop off during fair week will not be accepted either, we kindly ask that you enter online, email or mail in your entries.
Our Office Administrator will be available in the portable building on the grounds from 10am – 2pm, Saturday, August 29th and Sunday, August 30 for last-minute drop-offs of paper copy entries.

Rules and Regulations:
- Poultry can be brought in between 6:00 to 9:00pm on Thursday, September 10, 2026 or between 8:00am and by 9:30am on Friday, September 11, 2026.
- Judging starts at 10:00am sharp on Friday, September 11, 2026.
- Poultry will remain cooped until 4:00pm on Sunday September 13, 2026-no exceptions.
- If any poultry show signs of sickness, they will be removed from the exhibit by the Committee.
- Entries are to be identified by section as follows: A – Cock, B – Hen, C – Cockerel, D – Pullet. Waterfowl: Two Sections: A – Old Male or B – Old Female.
- No limit for entries per section. Committee may limit total entries.
- All entries must be the property of the exhibitor.
- No limit for entries per section except Geese, which is limited to a total of 30 entries-spots filled on a first come, first served basis. Committee may limit total entries.
- The Poultry Show Committee will collect all eggs laid during the fair. No other person is permitted to remove eggs from cages.
- All exhibitors must hold a 2026 membership in the Orono Agricultural Society, before his/her entry can be processed. Memberships are $10.00 payable by cheque, made payable to the Orono Agricultural Society, and submitted along with your entry form.
- In showing showing AV, AOV, and AOB , the class, breed and colour must be stated on your entry. If warranted, classes will be added.
TERMS: AV (Any Colour), AOV (Any Other Colour), AOB (Any Other Breed), APA (American Poultry Association).
Prize Money per section win: 1st place – $8.00, 2nd place – $7.00, 3rd place – $6.00. Class Champions as per the APA Standard (Minimum 6 entries per class) $10.00

Rules and Regulations:
- All exhibits must be the property of the exhibitor and be cooped in either between 6:00 to 9:00pm on Thursday, September 10, 2026 OR between 8:00am to 9:30am on Friday, September 11, 2026.
- Juniors must be in attendance when birds are being judged and prepared to discuss their poultry with the judge.
- Judging will commence at 10:00am SHARP on Saturday September 12th, 2026.
- Exhibitors 17 and under, may choose to enter in Adult Section. If they do, then ALL of their entries will be judged in the adult section.
- There is no entry fee for Junior Exhibitors.
