How do I become a member of the Orono Agricultural Society?

Membership is $10 for the year. You can pay your membership at the fair office for the year or at our Annual General Meeting in January. For more information please email our office manager Valerie [email protected]

My child is lost where can I report a lost child?

Please report your lost child to the fair office IMMEDIATELY. The office has access to trained volunteers.

What is your severe weather procedures?

We follow the Municipality of Clarington’s Severe Weather Emergency Procedures For Special Events(click to view)

Do you allow pets?

NO pets are allowed on the grounds. Except service dogs (must be wearing their service jacket!), also exception is on Sunday of the fair for the Children’s pet show. Once the show is finished pets MUST be taken back home.

I want to rent your grounds for an event, who do I contact?

During Fair weekend 

From the West
Highway 401 East to Highway 35/115 North.Take the Main Street Orono exit and follow Main Street north to Centerview Street. Turn right on Centreview Street (Mac’s Convenience on the corner) and follow the signs to parking.

From the East
Highway 401 West to Highway 35/115 North. Take the Main Street Orono exit and follow Main Street north to Centreview Street. Turn right on Centreview Street Mac’s Convenience on the corner) and follow the signs to parking.

From the North
Highway 35 or Highway 115 South to Taunton Rd cut off follow it west to Main Street, Orono (Durham Region Works on right hand side) Turn left on Main Street follow to Centreview Street (Mac’s Convenience on the corner) Turn left and follow the signs to parking.

What are the office hours during the Orono Fair?

Tuesday: 9 am to 3 pm ; Wednesday: 9 am to 9 pm ; Thursday: 8 am to 10 pm ; Friday: 8 am to 10 pm ;

Saturday:  8 am to 8 pm ; Sunday: 9 am to 4:00 pm

Where is the Fair office located?

The fair office is located in the arena across from the canteen. Enter from the front doors to the arena off the parking lot.

The fair office is only available to the public during fair time, during office hours listed above. If you need to contact the office outside of the the first week after labour day please email our office manager at [email protected] or call (905) 983-9510

How much is parking on the grounds during the fair?

Parking is FREE! We encourage you to please NOT park on the streets in town for respect to our neighbors close by. If the parking on the grounds is FULL please use our shuttle service which is also FREE! located at Taunton Rd and main Street (follow the signs north up main street)

Do you have senior or handicap parking?

Yes we do!  We try our best to keep the parking area near the arena for our seniors and handicap guests.

What are the gate hours for Orono Fair?

Thursday: 5pm -10pm ; Friday 9am – 10pm & Saturday: 8am – 10pm ;Sunday: 8:30am – 4pm

What is the gate admission for the Orono Fair?

Thursday 2 for 1 FAMILY NIGHT – Admit 2 for $15

Friday, Saturday & Sunday General Fair Admission – $15 (not friday night concert admission)

Children 13 & under FREE with a paid adult admission. Children NOT with an adult regular admission prices apply!
NO PETS ALLOWED- SERVICE DOGS ONLY with the exception of the pet show on Sunday!
