The Regional Chair's Message

On behalf of Durham Regional Council, I offer best wishes to everyone enjoying the Durham Central Agricultural Fair.

For 157 years, this community has celebrated the accomplishments of our rural community and the ongoing importance of agriculture to our Region. Our thanks go to the organizing committee and volunteers who have worked diligently to make this event possible year after year.

The Fair highlights our farm heritage and showcases the energy, ingenuity and talent of our current generation of rural residents. We congratulate all the participants on the skills and achievements that will continue to make Durham Region a leader in agriculture!
