The Mayors's Message

Welcome:

On behalf of Council and the residents of Clarington, I would like to welcome you to the Orono Fair.

This year the fair will run from Thursday, September 10 to Sunday, September 13, 2009 and it promises to be bigger and better than ever before.

The theme of the Orono Fair this year is "Helping our Neighbours - A Country Tradition". It is reassuring to know that in communities such as ours, our neighbours are willing to lend a helping hand when needed.

This Durham Central Agricultural Fair Board has many dedicated members who take pride in the Orono Fair and help make it the success that we have witnessed over the years. This is an excellent community event and the organizers are to commended for their commitment.

The Orono Fair offers numerous exhibits and attractions for everyone and I encourage you to bring your family and friends and experience what "Helping our Neighbours - A Country Tradition" is all about - you won't be disappointed!
